Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Core PHP
• ▹Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and external services
• ▹Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications
• ▹Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, and project managers
• ▹Create and maintain API documentation and technical specifications
• ▹Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms: JWT, OAuth, API tokens
• ▹Optimize application and API performance through code improvements and database tuning
• ▹Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues
• ▹Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards
• ▹Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• ▹Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• ▹5+ years of PHP development experience
• ▹Strong proficiency in Core PHP
• ▹Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• ▹MySQL database design, query optimization, and stored procedures
• ▹Knowledge of JSON, XML, and API integrations
• ▹Experience with authentication methods: JWT, OAuth 2.0, API keys
• ▹Experience creating and integrating APIs in current or previous roles
• ▹Experience owning API documentation
• ▹Familiarity with Git version control
• ▹Experience using Postman or similar API testing tools
• ▹Understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization
• ▹Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with PHP frameworks: CakePHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter
• ▹Knowledge of microservices architecture
• ▹Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• ▹Experience with Redis, caching mechanisms, and queue systems
• ▹Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
