Responsibilities

• ▹Embedded Linux and firmware development for railway and industrial automation applications
• ▹CNC machine control, industrial fieldbus systems
• ▹IoT development (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM data transmission)
• ▹User interfaces for embedded devices with touch displays
• ▹Desktop/embedded application development for industrial machine control
• ▹2D/3D technical drawing software for the footwear industry
• ▹Full stack web development: analytics and reporting on data collected from industrial machines, real-time metrics visualization, portals for remote machine configuration and management
• ▹Low-level embedded Linux development: BSP, kernel drivers, user space daemons
• ▹Bare-metal / microcontroller development in C: drivers, use of RTOS
• ▹Support the electronics design team in board testing and debugging
• ▹Build cross-platform (desktop and tablet) applications using the Qt library
• ▹Connect user interfaces with backend logic
• ▹Develop HTTP APIs for web and mobile interoperability
• ▹Contribute to microservices-based web applications using Amazon AWS

Requirements

• ▹Belongs to a legally protected category under Italian law L. 68/99
• ▹For embedded Linux/firmware: knowledge of C, C++, Python, Bash, Go, Qt/QML is a plus
• ▹For desktop/embedded development: knowledge of at least one of C, C++, Python or Go
• ▹For full stack web development: Angular.js or React.js (frontend), Python or Go (backend), other languages also accepted
