Senior AWS Platform Engineer (Nearshore)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
• ▹Standardize multi-account landing zones, unified IAM models and automated compliance guardrails
• ▹Standardize core networking (DNS, traffic segmentation, routing, connectivity)
• ▹Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
• ▹Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• ▹Write automation scripts in Python, Bash or Go
• ▹Implement logging, monitoring and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, ELK)

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation)
• ▹Strong Infrastructure as Code skills, especially Terraform and Terragrunt
• ▹Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes / AWS EKS) experience
• ▹Python, Bash or Go scripting
• ▹Experience with monitoring stacks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)
• ▹Effective collaboration in Agile/Scrum teams, strong communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in financial services, banking, or highly regulated/audited environments (SOC2, compliance frameworks)
• ▹Cloud cost optimization (FinOps), capacity planning, resource lifecycle management
• ▹Familiarity with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux)
