SAP HANA Cloud Data Modeler (Medior/Senior)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop scalable data models in SAP HANA Cloud using Calculation Views and SQLScript
• ▹Implement calculated fields, aggregations and business logic based on Profit Center, Business Line and MRP Controller requirements
• ▹Collaborate with finance and supply chain stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions
• ▹Optimize data models for performance, security and reusability
• ▹Ensure models are well-documented, version-controlled and follow best practices
• ▹Work with functional consultants to validate data accuracy and business alignment

Requirements

• ▹2-4 years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud for Medior level, 5-7 years for Senior level
• ▹Strong expertise in Calculation Views, SQLScript, Table Functions, Stored Procedures and scheduler jobs
• ▹Experience with profit center accounting and MRP/planning-related data
• ▹Familiarity with data modeling principles, performance optimization and analytic privileges
• ▹Ability to work in SAP Business Application Studio and SAP HANA Database Explorer
• ▹Experience with Git-based source control tools such as Bitbucket
• ▹Familiarity with automated deployment pipelines such as Jenkins
• ▹Good communication skills with business and technical teams
• ▹Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
• ▹Fluent English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with CDS views
• ▹Knowledge of Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and OData services
• ▹Understanding of connecting SAP HANA data models to UI5 layers via OData
• ▹Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 application development
• ▹Creating reports and infolinks in Tibco Spotfire
• ▹Exposure to SDI/SDA for data replication or virtualization
