Senior Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and evolve scalable, secure, fault-tolerant distributed systems within an event-driven microservices architecture
• ▹Own and advance backend service architecture, creating reusable services, APIs, and shared components
• ▹Translate product requirements into well-designed technical solutions
• ▹Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle from design to production support
• ▹Write clean, robust, well-tested code following SOLID principles and CI/CD best practices
• ▹Act as a senior technical leader, guiding architecture decisions and mentoring through code review
• ▹Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflow

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of backend or full-stack development experience building scalable, reliable systems
• ▹Proven experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.)
• ▹Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• ▹Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• ▹Experience with event-driven systems and messaging (Kafka, SQS/SNS)
• ▹Strong system design expertise with hands-on production troubleshooting
• ▹Strong grasp of clean-code principles and backend design patterns
