Platform Engineering Consultant

Role Overview Join the Red Hat Technology Services team as a Platform Engineering Consultant in Spain, preferably in Madrid. As a subject matter expert in Red Hat 's AppDev, infrastructure, and cloud technology, you will deliver quality work resulting in a positive customer experience, building broad and deep technical expertise in Red Hat technologies. What You Will Do Implement automated, containerized cloud application platforms, serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, implementation, testing, customer training, and deployment of enterprise-grade open source solutions. Why It Might Be a Fit This role requires experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders, knowledge of infrastructure technologies, and demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and container technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker. Requirements Experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on a range of development and deployment projects Knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and container technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker Demonstrated experience with Ansible and Automation (RH Ansible Automation Platform) Hands-on experience implementing DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-driven workflows Ability to code in some programming languages (Go, Python, Java...)
