Analytics Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and grow a team of analytics engineers (currently 2, scaling to 4 this year)
• ▹Drive the rollout and adoption of Lightdash as the single source of truth for business reporting
• ▹Own dashboard development initially, then transition ownership to analysts by building templates and processes
• ▹Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into well-designed, maintainable data products
• ▹Design and deliver training and enablement programs for business users
• ▹Own and evolve core dbt models and the semantic layer for LTV, acquisition, retention, funnel, and financial reporting

Requirements

• ▹Experience leading an analytics engineering or data modeling team
• ▹Experience with dbt models and building a semantic layer
• ▹Proficiency in Python and SQL
• ▹Experience with BigQuery and Looker (or a similar self-service BI tool such as Lightdash)
• ▹Ability to manage multiple projects, analytical mind, attention to detail
