Senior Software Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Write distributed, high-availability, high-throughput systems while maintaining data consistency.
• ▹Refactor code and leave it better than you found it.
• ▹Write tests as an integral part of the development process, in small increments.
• ▹Build modular and functional applications.
• ▹Develop solutions end-to-end, from client-side through to server-side.
• ▹Use delivery pipelines, A/B testing, real-time analytics and monitoring tools like DataDog.
• ▹Build deployment pipelines and continuous delivery on cloud platforms (GCP, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes).
• ▹Pair program most of the day; participate in daily standups, weekly planning and retros.

Requirements

• ▹Collaborative, open-minded, and committed to developing your craft.
• ▹Experience writing distributed, high-availability, high-throughput systems maintaining data consistency.
• ▹Experience with refactoring techniques.
• ▹Solid understanding of HTTP and how the internet works.
• ▹Expert knowledge of using tests to drive application design.
• ▹Experience building deployment pipelines and continuous delivery on cloud platforms (GCP, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes).
