Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the Scene Understanding Team's computer vision research and development
• ▹Lead development of systems calibrating hundreds of cameras
• ▹Translate state-of-the-art research into scalable, maintainable engineering systems
• ▹Manage backlog refinement, stakeholder communication and roadmap planning with product managers
• ▹Collaborate with other tech departments on deployment and monitoring
• ▹Promote best practices in software development and project management
• ▹Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative remote team
• ▹Track emerging AI trends and assess their applications

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ▹6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• ▹Extensive experience in Python
• ▹Experience with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, gRPC and Protobuf
• ▹Experience with AI projects, focused on computer vision and geometry
• ▹Proven production experience
• ▹Excellent leadership, communication and management skills

• ▹Asynchronous processes and event-driven architectures
• ▹Containerized applications, Kubernetes and Docker
• ▹Azure experience
• ▹Multi-view stereo technologies, e.g. Colmap
• ▹SLAM or Structure from Motion experience
• ▹Fast-paced, product-driven startup experience
• ▹Golang experience
• ▹Experience in the autonomous retail industry
• ▹MLOps, DevOps, build/release/deployment automation experience
