Responsibilities

• ▹Design and document the data platform architecture in GCP
• ▹Define the base architecture for ingesting information from different sources
• ▹Design and implement scalable, maintainable data pipelines
• ▹Participate in selecting and configuring the most suitable GCP services
• ▹Work on data processing, storage and exploitation
• ▹Apply security, performance, monitoring and cost-control best practices
• ▹Collaborate with architects, analysts and other data engineers

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience as a Data Engineer in GCP environments
• ▹Ability to design and document end-to-end data architectures
• ▹Experience with services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Functions or Cloud Run
• ▹Knowledge of Python and SQL
• ▹Experience with batch ingestion and, if possible, real-time processes
• ▹Knowledge of data modeling, transformation and quality
• ▹Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code

Nice to have

• ▹Experience or knowledge of FinOps on GCP
• ▹GCP certifications
