Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Create and evolve architectural roadmaps for the data platform, aligned with product goals and long-term scalability
• ▹Translate product requirements into viable, scalable data architectures in a high-volume environment
• ▹Act as a bridge between data science, product engineering, and stakeholders
• ▹Establish and follow data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices
• ▹Mentor senior engineers and architects on complex data modeling and distributed systems challenges

Requirements

• ▹Extensive experience in software and data architecture, with a focus on large-scale data lakehouses
• ▹Expert-level fluency in Python, Go, or Java, and strong SQL and database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Iceberg, Athena)
• ▹Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures processing high-volume data, e.g. Spark
• ▹Strong understanding of data modeling and modern data architectures (data lakehouses)
• ▹Proven ability to balance immediate delivery with long-term architectural integrity
• ▹Strong verbal and written communication skills
• ▹6+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• ▹Background check required
