Functional Architect

Responsibilities

• ▹Write functional architecture files and present and defend them at architecture committees or to management as needed
• ▹Carry out impact, positioning, direction and business solution design studies
• ▹Ensure solutions comply with functional guidelines and standards
• ▹Support analysts and review functional files before they are submitted to clients
• ▹Coordinate effort estimation for implementation work
• ▹Organize, plan and lead working workshops and write minutes as needed
• ▹Develop testing and integration strategies for changes made to systems
• ▹Develop implementation strategies for the transition from existing to target systems
• ▹Support managers and project leads in identifying risks and issues during development
• ▹Help produce direction reports and build the product backlog, detailing the tasks needed to meet architecture requirements
