Canonical is hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect for the Alliances team to help major technology partners (Intel, Nvidia, Google, Dell, etc.) adopt its open source platform. The role covers designing cloud and open source architectures and partner onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Understand Ubuntu, Linux, networking and services in real environments
  • ▹Architect cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, Ceph, Spark)
  • ▹Integrate open source software (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra, NGINX)
  • ▹Design joint solution architectures with partners
  • ▹Design reference architectures and perform technical validation
  • ▹Run onboarding workshops for partner teams

Requirements

  • ▹Extensive Linux (Ubuntu) experience
  • ▹Cloud-native development and networking knowledge
  • ▹Passion for Kubernetes and data center technologies
