Developer (Shopify Storefront)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes, sections and reusable, responsive, accessible UI components
• ▹Co-create landing pages and micro-features with UX and deliver pixel-perfect implementations
• ▹Optimize bundling/splitting, images, critical CSS and hydration; continuously improve LCP, INP and CLS
• ▹Reliably integrate payments (Mollie/Klarna/PayPal), CRM/email (Klaviyo/Omnisend), reviews, PIM/ERP and translations
• ▹Set up, QA and roll out A/B tests and feature flags safely
• ▹Implement GA4 events, Consent Mode, CMP and server-side tagging; define and validate data layer schemas
• ▹Perform code reviews, add unit/integration tests, maintain CI/CD, monitoring/logging, dependency hygiene and rollback plans
• ▹Maintain READMEs and changelogs, manage a release calendar and collaborate in sprints via ClickUp/Notion

Requirements

• ▹3–5+ years building websites or online shops with a track record of improving speed and reliability
• ▹Strong Shopify theme expertise (Liquid, sections/templates), or strong React/TypeScript and the ability to ramp up on Shopify quickly
• ▹Comfortable with Git/GitHub and basic CI/CD practices
• ▹Thorough testing, edge-case thinking and early communication of risks
