This senior role sits within Citi's Operational Risk Management (ORM) function and leads data architecture and data domain centric risk assessments of data remediation efforts across the enterprise. Working in a 'hub and spoke' model with second line of defense officers, the manager provides SME expertise to ensure Citi's Enterprise Data transformation meets regulatory commitments. The role is accountable for control standards, risk oversight and mentoring across all three lines of defense.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Lead data architecture and data domain centric risk assessments of data remediation efforts
  • ▹Ensure Enterprise Control Standards and control design requirements are consistently implemented
  • ▹Continuously improve Data Risk Management practices, insights and tools
  • ▹Oversee the effective execution of Citi's Enterprise Data transformation
  • ▹Mentor and advise all three lines of defense on Data Risk concepts
  • ▹Negotiate, remediate and escalate risk and control concerns

Requirements

  • ▹SME expertise in Data Architecture
  • ▹Solid, challenging Risk Management experience
  • ▹Understanding of operational/non-financial risk management frameworks
  • ▹Ability to operate at Senior Vice President level across a complex global organization
