Senior Embedded Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and implement embedded systems in C or C++ on ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers
• ▹Develop and optimize Linux-based embedded systems
• ▹Develop and implement embedded software on real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• ▹Integrate sensors, actuators and communication interfaces
• ▹Analyze and debug software and hardware issues

Requirements

• ▹At least 7 years of professional experience as an embedded engineer
• ▹Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of experience with C and C++
• ▹Sound expertise with ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers such as STM32 or FPGA SoCs such as Xilinx Zynq
• ▹Confident handling of Linux-based embedded systems (kernel modifications, Device Tree configuration, bootloader development)
• ▹Professional experience with real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS, QNX, Zephyr or ThreadX
• ▹Several years of experience with sensor and actuator integration and communication interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I2C, UART or Ethernet
• ▹Good experience with analysis and debugging tools such as JTAG, SonarQube, oscilloscope or logic analyzer
