Senior Reverse Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Reverse-engineer the hardest antibot and fingerprinting systems across JS VMs, WASM and polymorphic/obfuscated code
• ▹Build JS function tracing, deobfuscation pipelines and fingerprint-inspection tooling that make investigations fast, repeatable and largely automated
• ▹Use AI (LLMs, agents, custom automation) to deobfuscate, classify and diagnose detection surfaces and to rapidly prototype tooling
• ▹Build and maintain website intel pipelines with checkpointed history so antibot updates can be diffed against a known-good baseline
• ▹Feed AI reverse-engineering and ban-resolution systems the context, signals and structured intelligence they need
• ▹Codify one-off reverse-engineering wins into durable tools, rules and pipelines
• ▹Fold tooling into the custom browser and automation stack and mentor others in AI-augmented reverse engineering

Requirements

• ▹A hacker mindset: rapidly developing proofs of concept and working tools, comfortable with uncertainty
• ▹Demonstrated use of AI tooling (LLMs, coding agents, automation) to accelerate your own engineering
• ▹Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js and Python, broad programming background and exceptional problem-solving ability
• ▹Strong research, debugging, fuzzing and reverse-engineering skills, including static, dynamic and concolic analysis
• ▹Hands-on experience reversing JavaScript VMs, WASM and heavily obfuscated or polymorphic code
• ▹Deep understanding of operating systems and computer networking
• ▹Adept with tools such as Wireshark and Burp Suite for intercepting and debugging network traffic
• ▹Understanding of browser engines, browser fingerprinting and antibot/anti-scraping mechanisms
• ▹Logical, measurement-backed prioritization and a collaborative working style

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with reverse-engineering tools like IDA, Ghidra, Frida or Babel
• ▹Experience building tooling or pipelines that feed machine-learning or AI systems
• ▹Experience with C/C++ and Rust
• ▹Core contributions to Mozilla or Chromium projects
