Senior SAP Consultant (HCM, SF, FI/CO, Logistics)

Responsibilities

• ▹Maintain the components and functionalities of SAP applications to meet customer demand
• ▹Customize SAP applications, fix issues and restore original functionality
• ▹Provide technical and functional support for specific SAP modules
• ▹Configure and implement the client's SAP modules, providing functional expertise, hands-on delivery, customization, guidance, presentations and instruction
• ▹Work with order personnel to translate business needs into SAP ERP configuration, reports and specifications
• ▹Act as direct point of contact for client troubleshooting: investigate and solve software problems, map business requirements and processes, develop necessary modifications
• ▹Define systems strategy, develop requirements, design and prototype, test, train and set up support procedures under multiple deadlines
• ▹Act as technical lead and functional project manager on company-wide SAP projects when needed
• ▹Write ABAP query reports and dialog programs or work directly with ABAP developers when needed
• ▹Maintain a clear understanding of master data management and its business impact
• ▹Give continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to meet expectations
• ▹Analyse customer demand for SAP customization and propose and realize a suitable solution
• ▹Consult with the ABAP developer or solution designer on the implementation design of new components
• ▹Document system changes and the design of new components
• ▹Test newly added functionality to avoid errors on the productive system
• ▹Present proposed solutions to the customer
• ▹Train and mentor junior colleagues
• ▹Act as senior support for new business and transitions between SAP modules

Requirements

• ▹S/4HANA expertise
• ▹Experience with ABAP debugging
• ▹Understanding of the business environment and IT, processes, organization and the implications of changes; sound understanding of IT architecture
• ▹Proficiency in a specific SAP module, customizing and SAP reports
• ▹Ability to read ABAP code and debug system behavior
• ▹Experience gathering functional and technical requirements from clients, analyzing and preparing new solutions, testing and taking part in roll-outs
• ▹Strong interpersonal, consulting and problem-solving skills
• ▹Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• ▹Willingness to travel
• ▹Strong SAP process knowledge and hands-on SAP ERP configuration skills (possible specialization: report writer, report painter, SAP Implementation ASAP methodology)
