Wise, a global fintech company, is hiring a Senior Engineer for the Getting Help team, which builds the customer support chat platform and self-service solutions so customers can solve their problems quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- ▹Leading the resolution of complex technical problems
- ▹Driving the implementation of solutions
- ▹Mentoring team members
Requirements
- ▹6+ years of experience with Java or other JVM-based languages, hands-on experience with the Spring framework
- ▹A track record of writing clean, maintainable code and a strong belief in best practices like code reviews, open feedback, and continuous improvement
- ▹Deep familiarity with backend development, including databases (SQL/NoSQL), synchronous/asynchronous communication, and distributed systems
- ▹Experience with web development technologies such as REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
