Software Engineer II - Backend

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop high-impact microservices projects, ensuring security, high availability and resilience
• ▹Translate functional and business requirements into efficient microservices architectures and secure technical designs
• ▹Help the team with development best practices, design patterns, testing and code review, including defining the team's processes and practices
• ▹Encourage and maintain a culture of technical documentation so platform solutions are easy for other teams to adopt
• ▹Work in a highly collaborative, analytical environment with code reviews, pair programming and data-driven development

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience in backend development
• ▹Good computer science fundamentals: data structures, complexity and design patterns
• ▹Knowledge of or interest in working with Go and Kotlin
• ▹Good knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis, etc.) databases
• ▹Experience developing APIs, microservices and distributed architectures
• ▹Quality-minded, with hands-on experience writing automated (unit and integration) tests
• ▹Basic knowledge of CI/CD practices
• ▹Use of AI to ease the work and proactivity in staying up to date

Nice to have

• ▹Production experience with Go and/or Kotlin
