Responsibilities

• ▹Implement Stream-aligned, Platform and Enabling team structures according to Team Topologies
• ▹Design high-growth engineering organisations with a focus on flow and cognitive load management
• ▹Use health metrics and efficiency benchmarks to proactively resolve bottlenecks
• ▹Practically integrate LLMs and agentic workflows into the SDLC (automated coding, testing and incident response)
• ▹Provide hands-on technical leadership, architectural oversight and design reviews
• ▹Ensure infrastructure scalability for global, high-availability data platforms
• ▹Design AI-augmented onboarding, deployment pipelines and feedback loops
• ▹Translate complex roadmaps into technical requirements and high-value execution in partnership with Product/UX
• ▹Build seniority levels, internal mobility and growth tracks
• ▹Coach Team Leads and identify high-potential talent
• ▹Promote a Radical Candor environment and structured knowledge sharing (guilds, tech talks)

Requirements

• ▹7-10+ years in high-growth SaaS; deep technical acumen (data platform experience preferred)
• ▹Proven track record of building and rapidly scaling R&D teams
• ▹Deep proficiency in Java
• ▹Practical interest or experience in agentic AI systems to drive team-wide adoption
• ▹Expert grasp of Team Topologies, flow optimisation and architectural alignment
• ▹Fluency in human-centric frameworks such as Management 3.0
• ▹Ability to synthesise high-level strategy into daily operational execution
• ▹Self-starter with a strong bias for action and a track record of driving complex initiatives to completion
• ▹Exceptional skill in aligning stakeholders across Product, Design and Executive leadership
