Senior Billing Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, test and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core MVC and Web APIs
• ▹Write clean, maintainable, well-structured code following best practices and coding standards
• ▹Develop queries, stored procedures and data models
• ▹Participate in system design, architecture discussions and solution planning
• ▹Implement secure and scalable patterns, including dependency injection, configuration management and logging
• ▹Integrate applications with databases, cloud services, third-party APIs and identity providers
• ▹Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• ▹Develop additional features on existing applications and investigate defects
• ▹Deliver operationally stable software and help ensure uptime
• ▹Assist in month-end close and compliance with internal controls (occasionally evenings or weekends)
• ▹Assist in coordinating monthly billing cycles and issuance of system-generated invoice attachments
• ▹Configure new billing models
• ▹Analyze large datasets to troubleshoot billing discrepancies
• ▹Improve automation of CI/CD processes
• ▹Deliver API-enabled components
• ▹Migrate legacy applications to the cloud
• ▹Mentor and support junior developers

Requirements

• ▹Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL
• ▹Strong knowledge of .NET/C# and ASP.NET WebAPI (or ASP.NET Core)
• ▹Fluency in English
• ▹Experience with C#, TDD/BDD, SQL Server databases and REST/SOAP web services
• ▹Ability to create PowerBI/JasperReport reports
• ▹Intermediate MS Excel knowledge
• ▹At least 5 years of professional experience in all of the above
