Test Automation Engineer / Test Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze and review business and system specifications
• ▹Actively participate in defining testing objectives
• ▹Prepare test plans based on team-defined objectives
• ▹Design, document, and execute test cases
• ▹Record and evaluate test results
• ▹Prepare test reports and documentation
• ▹Manage and track defects
• ▹Monitor software changes and retest bug fixes
• ▹Actively participate in functional and regression testing processes
• ▹Develop and optimize test automation solutions
• ▹Create and execute regression test suites
• ▹Work closely with developers, business stakeholders, product owners, end users and related departments
• ▹Perform administrative and documentation tasks related to own work

Requirements

• ▹Relevant university degree
• ▹Experience testing banking systems
• ▹Experience using issue and test management tools (e.g. HP Quality Center, SpiraTeam, Xray, Zephyr)
• ▹Knowledge of database management and SQL
• ▹Experience with both hard-coding and low/no-code testing tools (e.g. TestNG, Selenium, Katalon, Tosca)
• ▹Solid programming and/or algorithmic skills
• ▹Quality-oriented, solution-focused mindset
• ▹Excellent communication skills
• ▹Ability to work reliably and accurately, independently and in a team
• ▹Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
• ▹Ability to adapt to changing priorities in an Agile environment
• ▹At least 1-3 years of experience in test automation

Nice to have

• ▹ISTQB CTFL or higher certification
• ▹Knowledge of test management tools
• ▹Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• ▹Professional experience in banking processes
