Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead customer technical projects delivering production-grade systems: reference architectures, custom applications, data ingestion and ML/AI integration
• ▹Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build and deployment of big data projects
• ▹Support customers on architecture and design, bootstrapping or implementing projects that drive successful Databricks adoption
• ▹Own architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with customer needs
• ▹Coordinate with the Databricks technical team, project manager, architect and customer team to ensure technical delivery meets customer needs
• ▹Work with Engineering and Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback and drive rapid issue resolution
• ▹Embed with customer teams, engaging stakeholders from technical ICs to executives to deeply understand challenges and deliver impact
• ▹Contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks and best practices that scale impact across accounts

Requirements

• ▹Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering
• ▹Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala or JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks
• ▹Working knowledge of two or more common cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in at least one
