Job Description: In your new role you will: º Develop, implement and evaluate machine learning methods for the automated processing, segmentation and information extraction from image data º Familiarize yourself with various use cases in the power semiconductor industry º Carrying out requirements analyses in close collaboration with the data science team and subject matter experts º Familiarize with available software tools and data pipelines º Documentation and communication of results Location: Technologiepark Villach Candidate Profile: You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer: º Experience in the fields of computer vision, data structures, data science and data visualisation º Advanced experience in Python programming (including version control), with a willingness to learn other programming languages (e.g. C++, Java, R) º Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and implement creative, data-driven solutions º Fluency in English and a basic knowledge of German This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for Bachelor students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
