Responsibilities

• ▹Develop PLC software for new and existing ground systems
• ▹Design PLC hardware setups and topologies
• ▹Perform risk analyses and design safety-critical electrical systems
• ▹Commission control systems of new ground systems and tweak them to operator needs
• ▹Maintain and support ground systems across all phases of their lifecycle
• ▹Troubleshoot PLC systems

Requirements

• ▹A degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or similar, or a certified engineer (German: 'staatlich geprüfter Techniker') qualification in automation technology
• ▹2+ years of experience in automation and PLC technology, ideally using Beckhoff PLCs
• ▹Experience in PLC programming (soft-PLC) and commissioning, ideally using Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 or CODESYS based systems
• ▹Hands-on experience giving technical support and troubleshooting in the field or remotely
• ▹Knowledge of industrial fieldbus systems
• ▹Basic understanding of electrical schematics
• ▹Highly organized and proactive with high attention to detail
• ▹Can-do attitude and outstanding communication skills
• ▹Fluent in English
