Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Partner with the Commercial team to design and build data solutions
• ▹Manage end-to-end data product releases across cross-functional teams
• ▹Develop and deploy strategic product improvements to maximize data quality and business impact
• ▹Build and optimize systems to monitor data quality across the pipeline
• ▹Perform root cause analyses and find scalable solutions
• ▹Investigate anomalous data to judge whether trends are data errors or real-world events
• ▹Act as first responder for data issues and inquiries
• ▹Educate commercial stakeholders on data definitions
• ▹Manage QA tests and dashboards
• ▹Investigate data restatements and data science models
• ▹Coordinate data fixes with Engineering, Data Science, and external vendors
• ▹Coordinate monthly Looker releases and weekly ad hoc reports

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of hands-on experience in data-focused roles
• ▹Expert in SQL, Excel, DBT, and BI tools (e.g. Looker, Redash)
• ▹Proven ability to organize, analyze, and vet large volumes of data
• ▹Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
