PV & BESS Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage energy yield calculation studies and performance assessment
• ▹Review overall project design and technology, suggesting improvements
• ▹Review and advise on key construction contracts for clients
• ▹Support project sponsors and lenders through financial close, development, or construction
• ▹Assess technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to reduce CAPEX, OPEX, and revenue risk
• ▹Follow up on project construction and acceptance (PAC, IAC, FAC)
• ▹Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer
• ▹Own projects end-to-end

Requirements

• ▹Electrical/Mechanical or Energy Engineering degree
• ▹2-5 years of experience in the Italian Renewable Energy Market with yield calculations, conceptual designs, and tenders
• ▹Understanding of the permitting process for PV & BESS projects in Italy
• ▹Strong technical knowledge combined with strong communication skills
• ▹Strong organization and prioritization skills, stress resistance
• ▹Experience with grid connection and construction of PV plants in Italy
• ▹Team player, open to regular travel to project sites in Italy
• ▹Fluent in Italian and English
