Responsibilities

• ▹Lead a team of 4-5 engineers while staying meaningfully hands-on as a technical player-coach
• ▹Own the team's delivery and drive stakeholder alignment
• ▹Work closely with the Director of Engineering and product stakeholders on sequencing, prioritization, and roadmap negotiation
• ▹Mentor engineers day to day
• ▹Maintain and evolve a self-service data platform while delivering as a product team
• ▹Shape technical details and influence technical direction as the roadmap extends into 2027 and beyond

Requirements

• ▹Strong, senior data engineering background
• ▹Genuine desire to step into a management role while remaining technically hands-on
• ▹Enough technical grounding to make sound decisions and mentor engineers
