Vendor Security Senior Expert

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyzing supplier and partner contracts and tender materials from an information security perspective, developing amendment proposals
• ▹Actively participating in negotiations with partners to enforce security requirements
• ▹Assessing external partners' cybersecurity readiness through questionnaires, interviews, and on-site audits
• ▹Preparing and monitoring risk assessments
• ▹Participating in the development, testing, and operation of the supplier risk management platform
• ▹Compiling training materials and supporting the procurement team
• ▹Verifying the cybersecurity controls of applications and systems based on relevant legislation (Hungarian Act LXIX of 2024, government decrees 418/2024 and 7/2024, and DORA)
• ▹Working closely with IT, business, and project teams, participating in internal and external audits
• ▹Supporting identity and access management (IAM) projects

Requirements

• ▹Secondary education
• ▹Intermediate, communicative English with active professional vocabulary
• ▹1–3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
• ▹Knowledge of the operation and application of cybersecurity technologies
• ▹Experience with supplier audits and policy updates
• ▹Openness to learning new technologies and regulations (e.g. DORA)

Nice to have

• ▹A relevant higher education degree or cybersecurity certification
