Head of Performance and fan of AI tooling

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the full performance marketing function across Hedepy's CEE markets, from strategy through execution to results
• ▹Run and optimize paid channels such as Meta and Google Ads with a focus on sustainable CAC and growth
• ▹Use AI tools for creative testing, audience analysis, reporting and iteration
• ▹Act as the critical layer between data, AI outputs and real decisions
• ▹Work cross-functionally with product and content teams to connect paid performance with the broader funnel
• ▹Help shape the performance marketing function as Hedepy scales, including future team build-out

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience with direct ownership of results (CAC, ROAS, budget)
• ▹Proven experience running campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads at meaningful budget scale
• ▹Proven experience building AI agentic systems and programmatic automation (e.g. Claude Code, API integration) beyond standard chat interfaces
• ▹Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data, identify patterns and make fast, independent decisions
• ▹A player-coach mindset, comfortable as a solo contributor while owning agency management and future team design
• ▹Fluent English (B2+), written and spoken
• ▹Native speaker of Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Polish or Romanian
• ▹Based in the EU (required for the freelance contract)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in a regulated or sensitive category such as healthcare, fintech or legaltech
• ▹Experience building or rebuilding a performance marketing function from scratch
• ▹Familiarity with AI-generated creative workflows at scale
• ▹Knowledge of additional paid channels such as TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads or programmatic
