Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage infrastructure access rights, with meticulous attention to who has access to servers and why
• ▹Design stable cloud services on AWS that withstand rapid growth
• ▹Maintain Unix/Linux servers: configuration, updates and automation, with full understanding of what happens in the operating system
• ▹Respond to incidents based on deep log analysis (Datadog, Elastic), finding root causes rather than just restarting services
• ▹Support development teams to keep the system running smoothly

Requirements

• ▹At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps/SysAdmin, including hands-on AWS
• ▹Very good cloud knowledge backed by classic system administration experience (a background in maintaining physical servers or data centers is welcome)
• ▹Comfort with Linux: the terminal is your natural working environment
• ▹A responsible attitude towards the critical access entrusted to you
• ▹Humility about technology and the ability to fix mistakes
• ▹Analyzing problems from every angle: security, performance and long-term effects
• ▹Understanding both the cloud and the physical nature of a server
• ▹English at least B2
• ▹Must know the stack: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Nginx (deep tuning and optimization), PHP-FPM, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM), MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Datadog, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana), Terraform / Ansible

• ▹AWS certifications
• ▹Hands-on Terraform knowledge
• ▹Knowledge of Apache Kafka or Cloudflare
• ▹Willingness to grow towards agentic DevOps (process automation)
