Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain systems built on CakePHP and PHP 7.x as well as Symfony and PHP 8.x
• ▹Design and develop REST APIs for integration with external systems (e-commerce, courier, financial)
• ▹Design and optimize database structures in MySQL / Aurora (AWS)
• ▹Containerize services with Docker / docker-compose
• ▹Build the frontend layer (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery) that supports backend functionality
• ▹Code review and work with Git (branching, PRs, tagging, rebase)
• ▹Work with the DevOps team and product owners on architecture and functional roadmap planning
• ▹Use AI tools (e.g. Claude, Codex, Copilot) to automate daily development tasks, generate code, tests and refactorings
• ▹Proactively look for improvements with AI in development, bug analysis and documentation

Requirements

• ▹At least 4-5 years of commercial experience building web applications as a full-stack developer
• ▹Very good knowledge of PHP 7.x/8.x, OOP, design patterns, CakePHP and Symfony
• ▹Experience designing and documenting REST API and SOAP
• ▹Very good knowledge of MySQL / Aurora: schema design, indexes, optimization
• ▹Knowledge of Git and good team practices (PR flow, release management)
• ▹Practical knowledge of Docker / docker-compose for configuring development environments
• ▹Basic HTML, CSS, JS (jQuery) sufficient to integrate application layers
• ▹Ability to work with legacy code and refactor it gradually
• ▹Knowledge and practical use of AI development tools (e.g. Claude, Codex, Copilot)
• ▹Ability to automate repetitive tasks and optimize own work with AI

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Symfony/Laravel or migrating systems to these frameworks
• ▹Knowledge of e-commerce processes
• ▹CI/CD basics (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• ▹Knowledge of AWS (Aurora, S3, Lambda)
• ▹Experience writing AI prompts and integrating language models into applications
