Responsibilities

• ▹Manage infrastructure permissions, with pedantic care about who has access to servers and why
• ▹Implement stable cloud service designs on AWS that can withstand dynamic growth
• ▹Maintain Unix/Linux servers: configuration, updates and automation, with full understanding of what happens in the operating system
• ▹Respond to incidents based on deep log analysis (Datadog, Elastic), finding root causes rather than just restarting services
• ▹Support developer teams to keep the system running continuously and smoothly

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 4 years of experience as DevOps/SysAdmin, including hands-on AWS
• ▹Very good cloud knowledge backed by classic administration experience
• ▹Comfort in Linux (Debian/Ubuntu); the terminal is your natural environment
• ▹Deep Nginx knowledge (tuning and optimization) and PHP-FPM
• ▹AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM)
• ▹MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ
• ▹Observability: Datadog, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
• ▹IaC: Terraform / Ansible
• ▹Responsible approach that looks at problems from every side: security, performance and long-term effects
• ▹Understanding of both the cloud and the physical nature of a server

Nice to have

• ▹Background in maintaining physical servers / data centers
• ▹AWS certifications
• ▹Practical knowledge of Terraform
• ▹Knowledge of Apache Kafka or Cloudflare
• ▹Interest in growing towards agentic DevOps (process automation)
