Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of the SaaS platform, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance, aligned with business objectives
• ▹Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Full Stack Engineers through coaching, feedback and knowledge sharing
• ▹Define and drive the technical strategy for AI integration with product and data teams, delivering AI-powered features that improve automation, decision-making and user experience
• ▹Explore and evaluate new AI models, frameworks and APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Hugging Face, Google AI) and oversee AI proof-of-concepts
• ▹Collaborate with product managers, designers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, prioritizing by impact and feasibility
• ▹Drive architectural decisions and establish coding standards and best practices for scalability, reliability and maintainability
• ▹Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce quality standards and promote testing methodologies and automation
• ▹Proactively identify technical debt, scalability bottlenecks and optimization areas, and lead initiatives to address them
• ▹Champion security and compliance initiatives and the implementation of robust security measures
• ▹Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies and evaluate their relevance to the platform

Requirements

• ▹Demonstrated leadership experience in a technical role, leading and mentoring engineering teams on complex SaaS applications
• ▹Extensive hands-on Full Stack experience with Node.js and related technologies, minimum 8 years
• ▹Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies such as Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker and TypeScript
• ▹Solid hands-on experience building and deploying AI-driven applications or features using APIs and ML models
• ▹Strong understanding of AI concepts such as NLP, recommendation engines, chatbots or intelligent automation tools
• ▹Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, architecting and deploying scalable, resilient applications
• ▹In-depth knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit, integration and functional testing, and testing frameworks and automation tools
• ▹Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns with practical application
• ▹Thorough understanding of web security best practices and compliance with industry regulations
• ▹Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and cloud infrastructure
• ▹Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ▹Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a proactive, results-oriented approach
