Responsibilities

• ▹Own the design of the API and integrations areas end to end, from developer-facing API surfaces to in-product integration flows
• ▹Partner with product and research to shape strategy as the market and audience for these surfaces shift
• ▹Design and prototype AI-native patterns for the API, including the ChatGPT app, Claude connector, and MCP integration
• ▹Shape how the core CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot) adapt for an increasingly agentic world
• ▹Prototype ideas fast: turn a Figma concept or LLM conversation into a production-grade React component in days
• ▹Trailblaze the Design Engineer function at PandaDoc, owning work end to end from problem framing to launch
• ▹Bring a technical perspective into the design process, sharing patterns and pairing on prototypes with designers
• ▹Work AI-first in Cursor and Claude Code

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience across both design and front-end engineering, with a portfolio to point to
• ▹Fluency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS
• ▹Comfort working close to API surfaces and developer tooling
• ▹Genuine interest in developer experience
• ▹Active, opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code in daily workflow
• ▹Comfort building from zero, with the judgment to set direction without a template

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot integrations
• ▹Familiarity with Figma-based design workflows
