Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and grow the security function end to end, building on existing security foundations.
• ▹Take ownership of supply chain security, secure software development, and infrastructure hardening initiatives.
• ▹Lead incident response and navigate high-pressure security incidents with sound judgment.
• ▹Balance security improvements with engineering velocity across the organization.
• ▹Recruit and develop a strong security team, building a culture engineers want to work with.

Requirements

• ▹Deeply technical security leadership experience, understanding how modern engineering organizations work.
• ▹Strong understanding of both infrastructure and application security.
• ▹Experience navigating real-world security incidents.
• ▹Comfort operating with high ownership and ambiguity, moving between technical details, strategy, customer conversations, and incident response.
• ▹Strong opinions on supply chain security, secure software development, AI-assisted engineering workflows, infrastructure hardening, identity and access management, and incident response.

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with AWS, distributed systems, developer tools, fintech, mobile, or payments.
