Senior Full-stack Engineer - Payroll Software

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain full-stack features across frontend, backend, database, and system architecture
• ▹Own feature delivery from design through production, making key technical and architectural decisions
• ▹Collaborate directly with clients, stakeholders, and remote team members
• ▹Design and implement integrations with payroll, billing, HR, and third-party enterprise systems
• ▹Solve complex technical challenges by balancing scalability, performance, and business priorities
• ▹Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and productivity

Requirements

• ▹Strong full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and a modern frontend framework (Svelte, React, Vue, or Angular)
• ▹Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL
• ▹Experience designing APIs, integrations, authentication, and webhooks
• ▹Solid SQL expertise: schema design, optimization, migrations, performance tuning
• ▹Demonstrated ownership of features from requirements through production
• ▹Experience writing automated tests and supporting production applications in startup or small-team environments
• ▹Professional proficiency in Spanish and English
