Test Automation Engineer (iOS)

Responsibilities

• ▹Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs
• ▹Ensure overall system quality prior to production releases
• ▹Develop, maintain and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration
• ▹Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments
• ▹Troubleshoot and triage issues with different teams to drive root cause resolution
• ▹Work with software developers to create test plans, test cases, procedures and reports
• ▹Work across functional areas within a disciplined agile environment
• ▹Estimate own testing tasks and work productively with minimal supervision
• ▹Influence the engineering organization on unit/integration/end-to-end testing

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience building automation frameworks for mobile/web applications, ideally social media or related apps
• ▹High proficiency in testing methodology, SDLC methodology, test documentation and QA best practices
• ▹Ability to independently create test plans based on requirements
• ▹Strong communication skills
• ▹Ability to identify areas of impact for adhoc and exploratory testing
• ▹Comfortable with both iOS and Android testing environments
• ▹Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
• ▹Creative problem-solving skills
• ▹Experience testing in Agile/Scrum SDLC using tools like JIRA and Confluence

Nice to have

• ▹3+ years of experience testing applications across iOS, Android, Web and Mobile Web
• ▹API testing experience
• ▹Experience in a fast-paced environment with weekly production releases
• ▹Scripting skills
