Senior Fullstack Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS
• ▹Architect APIs, caching layers, queues, and distributed services for high-performance SaaS applications
• ▹Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs (SOAP experience is a plus)
• ▹Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to deliver end-to-end product features
• ▹Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
• ▹Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and technical architecture decisions
• ▹Leverage AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging
• ▹Take ownership of features from design through production in a fast-moving startup environment

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience building production SaaS applications
• ▹Strong expertise with NestJS (mandatory)
• ▹Experience with Redis, caching strategies, and queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or equivalent
• ▹Strong experience with TypeORM
• ▹Good knowledge of Next.js and Tailwind CSS
• ▹Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs
• ▹Experience building scalable backend systems with asynchronous architectures
• ▹Fluent English with strong communication skills
• ▹Ability to effectively use AI coding assistants; familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar is a MUST
• ▹Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment

Nice to have

• ▹French language skills
• ▹Experience building Chrome Extensions
• ▹Background in MedTech or Healthcare SaaS
• ▹Knowledge of end-to-end encryption
• ▹Experience integrating SOAP services alongside REST APIs
• ▹Mobile development experience, particularly with React Native
• ▹Experience introducing AI-assisted or agentic development workflows across engineering teams
