Senior Solutions Architect – Kafka Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement and further develop an Apache Kafka platform in an on-premise environment
• ▹Build and maintain data code integrating various databases, APIs and systems
• ▹Monitor, troubleshoot and manage the platform to ensure high stability and availability
• ▹Configure and manage Kafka Connect and various types of connectors
• ▹Implement and maintain custom-built components in Kafka
• ▹Work with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
• ▹Collaborate closely with other teams, contributing to knowledge sharing and technical development

Requirements

• ▹Good ability to communicate in Swedish, spoken and written
• ▹At least 9 years of experience as a solutions architect
• ▹Documented experience setting up and administering Apache Kafka in on-premise environments, including logging, monitoring and certificate management
• ▹Documented experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
• ▹Documented experience with container technology and local orchestration
• ▹Documented experience with Kafka Connect, including configuring connectors for multiple types of data sources
• ▹Documented experience implementing custom-built components in Kafka
• ▹May be subject to a security vetting process, which can include a requirement for Swedish citizenship

Nice to have

• ▹Experience designing Kafka architecture for horizontal scaling
• ▹Experience with stream processing
