IT Consultant – Hosting, Azure and Backup

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement and operate hosting solutions (on-premise, hybrid and cloud-based)
• ▹Configure and manage Microsoft Azure services (e.g. virtual machines, storage, networking, Azure Backup, Entra ID, Azure Arc, Azure Update Manager, Defender for Cloud)
• ▹Develop and implement effective backup and recovery strategies, focused on Veeam-based solutions
• ▹Troubleshoot and solve problems in complex IT environments
• ▹Provide technical advice and support to clients
• ▹Participate in projects and workshops
• ▹Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience as an IT consultant or in a similar infrastructure-focused role
• ▹In-depth knowledge of hosting concepts and technologies
• ▹Experience with Microsoft Azure and its services, especially infrastructure and backup
• ▹Ability to work independently and take initiative
• ▹Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills
• ▹Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge and experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and related products
• ▹Knowledge of various backup and recovery solutions and strategies
• ▹Category B driving license
• ▹Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• ▹Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• ▹Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or similar Veeam certification
• ▹Relevant certification in other backup technologies (e.g. Cohesity)
