Network Technician

Responsibilities

• ▹Install, configure and maintain switches, routers and firewalls
• ▹Troubleshoot network traffic, connectivity and performance issues
• ▹Work with WLAN environments, access points and controllers
• ▹Ensure redundancy, monitoring and capacity planning
• ▹Manage network segmentation, VPN and other security features
• ▹Take part in change work and network architecture improvements
• ▹Document network solutions and changes

Requirements

• ▹At least 3 years of experience as a network technician or in a similar role
• ▹Good knowledge of switches, routers and firewall environments
• ▹Experience troubleshooting complex networks
• ▹Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN and routing
• ▹Swedish and English, spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Cisco, Aruba or Fortinet environments
• ▹Knowledge of wireless networks and WLAN design
• ▹Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix)
• ▹Experience with network security, VPN, segmentation or firewall policies
• ▹CCNA, CCNP certifications
