AI First System Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design scalable and resilient systems that enable new ways for people to connect with healthcare
• ▹Define system design and data flows, integrating AI capabilities into real-world applications
• ▹Directly shape how Cambio's HealthCare product evolves
• ▹Work autonomously and collaboratively with product teams and external stakeholders
• ▹Help set the standard for how Cambio builds modern, AI-native systems across R&D

Requirements

• ▹Strong hands-on experience across frontend and backend development (code style does not matter; strong backend experience is a plus)
• ▹Deep expertise in AI and applied AI solutions, having built private and professional products and systems
• ▹Solid systems engineering background: designing, integrating, and scaling complex, distributed systems
• ▹Proven experience taking products from concept through launch and into live operation, owning the full lifecycle
• ▹Comfortable running and maintaining production systems, with a strong sense of reliability, observability, and operational ownership

Nice to have

• ▹Experience working with and optimizing agentic/robotic or automated systems
