Test Lead – Healthcare Digital Services (Falun)

Responsibilities

• ▹Full ownership of testing and quality assurance related to the Cosmic system
• ▹Combining test leadership with hands-on operative test work; coordinating technical, business and acceptance testing with IT, business units and suppliers
• ▹Playing a key role across the full chain from change through testing to release, with release-coordination responsibility
• ▹Reviewing release content, and planning, leading and coordinating relevant test activities
• ▹Maintaining and developing test cases in the test tool
• ▹Producing and requesting test data in the relevant test environment
• ▹Executing tests and supporting colleagues in test work
• ▹Producing test reports with recommendations ahead of production releases, and reporting results to stakeholders
• ▹Coordinating release activities and ensuring necessary preparations before going live, collaborating with the supplier when needed
• ▹Contributing to the development of test strategy and working methods, building up a long-term test function

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience as a test lead and tester of IT systems
• ▹Experience with test planning involving multiple stakeholders

Nice to have

• ▹Relevant higher education, e.g. in systems science, or equivalent training/experience
• ▹Experience with requirements management
• ▹Experience from healthcare operations, system management or similar work requiring quality, structure and collaboration
• ▹Experience with medical record / healthcare information systems
• ▹Experience with larger organizations or complex system environments
• ▹Experience using the ReQtest testing tool

Region Dalarna's Vårdnära Digitala Tjänster (VDT) team is part of Digitalization, IT and Medical Technology (DIM), and together with Vårdnära IT forms the VIST operation, which is responsible for operating, maintaining and developing the region's care-related IT systems, including the main patient record system, Cosmic. Following the rollout of Cosmic, the team is currently in an intensive, evolving phase where testing and quality assurance play a decisive role.
