Software Developer – Audio Tools

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement audio algorithms into the Dirac filter design tool in C++
• ▹Design and implement the user interface for ease of use
• ▹Coordinate with stakeholders in research and customer solutions departments
• ▹Take part in architectural discussions to design the tool for scalability
• ▹Maintain, test, and release the application on Windows
• ▹Help the Technology Manager break down large work items into smaller, estimable user stories
• ▹Run daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Requirements

• ▹MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• ▹Strong programming experience and proficiency in C++
• ▹Ability to work with a variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
• ▹Experience with GUI development
• ▹Fluency in spoken and written English
• ▹Valid work permit or citizenship allowing you to work in Sweden

Nice to have

• ▹A genuine interest in music and sound quality is a strong advantage
• ▹Knowledge of audio signal processing and/or advanced mathematics
• ▹Experience with project management, especially across teams
• ▹Programming experience with Qt Widgets, JUCE, and C
• ▹Experience working as a scrum master
• ▹Experience or interest in design and/or UX
• ▹Experience with Agile development
• ▹Familiarity with Git version control
• ▹Familiarity with CMake
