Distinguished Engineer, End-to-End Security Architect

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the end-to-end security architecture for the inference service platform (infrastructure, networking, APIs, operational controls)
• ▹Define security principles, threat models, trust boundaries and tenant isolation requirements
• ▹Establish security requirements for deployment environments (physical security, access management)
• ▹Define platform security requirements across hardware, firmware, secure boot and attestation
• ▹Lead the design of network and service isolation controls
• ▹Own security architecture for authentication, authorisation, secrets management and encryption
• ▹Define privileged access management approaches and audit requirements
• ▹Establish logging, monitoring and incident response requirements
• ▹Partner with engineering and operations teams to implement security requirements
• ▹Support customer security reviews, audits and penetration testing
• ▹Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance and mentoring across teams

Requirements

• ▹Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering or related field
• ▹Significant experience in security architecture, platform security or cloud/infrastructure security
• ▹Demonstrated experience owning security architecture for customer-facing or large-scale production environments
• ▹Deep understanding of threat modelling, zero-trust principles and tenant isolation
• ▹Strong knowledge of platform security technologies (trusted execution, secure boot, attestation)
• ▹Experience defining security requirements for data centre deployments
• ▹Expertise in network security architecture, segmentation and management-plane protection
• ▹Experience with key management, secrets management and certificate lifecycle management
• ▹Experience securing APIs, deployment pipelines and operational tooling
• ▹Strong understanding of logging, monitoring and incident response
• ▹Experience supporting customer security reviews, audits and executive-level discussions
• ▹Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience securing AI/ML inference platforms or accelerator-based systems
• ▹Experience with trusted execution environments and platform attestation technologies
• ▹Confidential computing, secure enclaves and measured boot knowledge
• ▹Experience supporting highly regulated environments or critical infrastructure
• ▹Familiarity with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, PCI DSS, FedRAMP or NIST
• ▹Knowledge of hardware platform security, high-performance networking and storage security
• ▹Supply-chain risk management experience
• ▹Experience working with hyperscalers, enterprise customers or AI organisations
