Responsibilities

• ▹Architect intuitive AI experiences: lead UI design for Gemini across platforms and modalities
• ▹Contribute to product strategy and manage stakeholders across Gemini App, Android and other Google Apps
• ▹Innovate through user-centered design
• ▹Design with systems-thinking approach optimized for AI's probabilistic and multimodal nature
• ▹Craft visually compelling interfaces
• ▹Motion and interaction design using Origami Studio, Principle and Protopie
• ▹Bridge design and technology using system instructions and prototyping
• ▹Champion design innovation following generative AI trends
• ▹Design for ethical and societal impact

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field
• ▹7+ years designing UIs for complex software applications, with conversational AI/LLM experience
• ▹Robust portfolio in visual, motion and interaction design with AI-interface examples
• ▹Proficiency designing user-centric experiences across platforms (web, desktop, mobile)
• ▹Demonstrated expertise designing intuitive interactions for AI-driven products
• ▹Experience guiding cross-functional teams from ideation to shipped product
• ▹Data-driven design capability
• ▹Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Principle
• ▹Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• ▹Mastery in presentation and storytelling
• ▹Strong systems thinker
• ▹Experience thriving in a startup environment

Nice to have

• ▹Ability to foster divergent design thinking and translate AI concepts into product visions
• ▹Experience shepherding radical, transformative AI-based product experiences
• ▹Prototyping with Figma, ProtoPie or Framer
• ▹Vibe-coding experience with tools like Loveable, Replit Figma Make, AI Studio, Cursor or AntiGravity
