Security Protection Specialist – Information Security

Responsibilities

• ▹Act as area-responsible for information security within security protection, including information security in and around information systems
• ▹Lead and participate in development assignments linked to information security and security-sensitive systems
• ▹Educate, support and guide the organization on information security and security protection matters
• ▹Contribute to cohesion in security protection work, coordinating with the authority's operations protection
• ▹Lead and coordinate efforts within the authority within the area of responsibility
• ▹Support other area-responsible colleagues in security and operations protection as needed

Requirements

• ▹Knowledge of the Security Protection Act, the Security Protection Ordinance and the Swedish Security Service's regulations on security protection
• ▹Extensive, current and relevant experience as a specialist in information security, including information security in and around information systems within security protection
• ▹Experience developing governing and supporting documents in the security protection area
• ▹Experience in the development and/or operation of security-sensitive systems
• ▹Good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with special security protection assessments (SSB) prior to system deployment
• ▹Knowledge of signal protection
• ▹Familiarity with exposure of security-sensitive operations
• ▹Knowledge of other relevant legislation beyond the security protection act
• ▹Experience from state administration
