Senior Technical Application Manager

Region Stockholm (Stockholm County Healthcare Area) is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Application Manager responsible for the full technical management of systems, from handover through continuous operation to decommissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and be responsible for the full technical management of systems, from handover to continuous operation and decommissioning
  • Act as main point of contact toward business units and suppliers regarding systems' technical status, performance, lifecycle planning and incident management
  • Plan, coordinate and follow up maintenance, upgrades and patching together with the operations organization
  • Work proactively with capacity planning, lifecycle management, and ensuring SLAs and security requirements are met
  • Identify new needs and drive further development of systems together with integration and project teams

Requirements

  • Relevant academic education, or equivalent competence gained through other training combined with long, relevant work experience
  • Several years of experience in technical systems management, IT delivery or a similar role
  • Good general understanding of IT infrastructure (operating environments, networks, integrations)
  • Experience working in a process-oriented way according to established frameworks such as ITIL or PM3
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and advising on technical matters
  • Knowledge of application and infrastructure operations, and basic knowledge of information and IT security
  • Good Swedish skills and well-developed presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of Office 365
  • Solid experience working with subcontractors
  • Experience with procurement
  • Solid experience with process work

  • Current experience in a systems management role
  • Experience in the public sector
  • Experience in the healthcare sector
  • Experience with contract management and the Swedish Public Procurement Act (LOU)
  • Experience using process methodology
